Lawrence Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is proud to introduce a new Amputee Support Group, designed to provide connection, encouragement, and resources for individuals living with limb loss.
This group was created with a simple but powerful mission: to offer a safe and supportive space where amputees can share experiences, gain practical tools, and build confidence for the road ahead. Whether you are newly navigating life as an amputee or have years of experience, your voice and presence are valued here.
Led by Leslie Blei, PT, DPT, CCI, STMT-1, CFPS, RAC-CT, Campus Director of Rehab Services, the group will provide opportunities to talk openly about both the physical challenges and emotional journey of limb loss. In addition to education and resources, participants can look forward to friendship, laughter, and encouragement.
Kickoff Meeting: Monday, October 6, 2025
Time: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Ongoing Schedule: First Monday of each month
Location: Lawrence Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, 2381 Lawrenceville Rd, Lawrenceville, NJ

or call 609-896-9500 x 8450 (please include your name, phone number, and number of attendees)

In addition to the support group, Lawrence is pleased to collaborate with organizations like Lawall Orthotics & Prosthetics and Hanger Clinic, both of which provide specialized expertise and resources. Our group is also listed on the Amputee Coalition website, a trusted national resource for those living with limb loss.
At Lawrence, we believe that healing happens not only through medical care but also through community. This group is here to remind you that you don’t have to walk this journey alone. Together, we can share strength, stories, and support.
We hope you’ll join us at our first meeting on October 6th and become part of this empowering community.
